Marie Wright's work uses a variety of screenprint, monoprint, handmade paper and mixed media working within the landscape from her studio at Morecambe Bay, Cumbria.
She aims to create a fragile quality in her work which reflects the frail nature of the landscape and the marks and changes made by man. The repetition of the tides and the transient nature of the landscape creates memories of the changing landscape and a sense of place.
